The Opportunity

A main contractor operating across the UAE with an established delivery team and structured project controls. Are looking to employ a Planning Engineer to work on a series of residential based projects.

The business has a consistent track record of delivering construction projects through disciplined planning, close coordination with site teams, and realistic programme management. This is a delivery-focused role on a clean residential project, no infrastructure, no unnecessary complexity. Ideal for a planner who likes being close to site.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6
• Monitor progress and update schedules in line with site activity
• Prepare look-ahead programmes and weekly/monthly reports
• Identify delays, risks and programme clashes early
• Work closely with site, commercial and project management teams
• Support EOTs and claims where required
• Ensure programme alignment with actual construction methodology

Requirements

• 5–8 years experience as a Planning Engineer
• Background with Tier 2 / Tier 3 contractors
• Strong residential building experience (townhouses / villas)
• Proficient in Primavera P6
• Comfortable working closely with site teams
