We are looking for a Senior MEP Planning Engineer who understands engineering deliverables, procurement priorities, and construction sequencing, and can present execution strategy confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.

Your Role

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing the full MEP execution strategy from tender stage through project initiation, ensuring the project scope is translated into a logical, risk-controlled and monitorable programme.

Key Responsibilities

Programme & Methodology

• Develop detailed Baseline MEP Programme & Narrative (Engineering Procurement Construction T&C Handover)
• Convert drawings and specifications into logical sequencing and execution strategy
• Prepare execution methodology and presentation for client/post-tender meetings
• Develop engineering deliverables schedule (drawings, material submittals, method statements)

Monitoring & Analysis

• Perform delay analysis and variance tracking
• Maintain constraint register and highlight critical risks
• Conduct probabilistic completion analysis and forecasting
• Track site productivity and identify corrective actions

Procurement & Coordination

• Setup long-lead material trackers and priority matrices
• Develop labour histogram and staff loading schedule
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams
• Support EOT and claims preparation with planning analysis

Reporting & Tools

• Produce progress, risk and performance reports
• Prepare client presentations (PPT)
• Setup project trackers and initialization reports

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6+ years MEP planning experience
• Strong experience developing baseline programme (not only updates)
• Primavera P6 expert
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Experience preparing planning narratives & methodology
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Highly Preferred

• Tender planning / pre-contract experience
• Data centre / complex MEP / fast-track projects
• Power BI, Navisworks, or BIM-linked planning exposure
• Experience presenting programme to clients
