Job Title: Planning Engineer
We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Planning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and managing all project planning activities within First bit ERP, ensuring timely execution, cost control, and alignment with project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up new projects in First bit ERP, including BOQ, BOM, timelines, and budget allocations
- Coordinate with site and project teams to gather and update daily progress data
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying and flagging any deviations or delays
- Assist the COO in ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, Gantt charts, and resource allocation plans
- Analyze technical documentation to create cost-effective execution strategies
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure optimal quality, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Prepare accurate reports on project status, risks, and proposed mitigation measures
- Attend and lead project meetings to drive alignment across stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction, fit-out, or a related industry
- Proficiency in Firstbit ERP or comparable project management systems
- Solid understanding of BOQ and BOM structures and processes
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is an advantage
