Planning Manager

Key Responsibility :

• Develop and maintain production plans that align with customer delivery deadlines and business targets.
• Follow up daily on the execution of the production plan across all garment lines to ensure timely and quality output.
• Communicate and coordinate closely with the Garemnt Production Manager and line supervisors to adjust plans based on real-time updates and capacity changes.
• Identify and clearly communicate urgent vs. non-urgent orders to relevant departments to ensure proper prioritization.
• Ensure that all planned output meets or exceeds customer quality standards.
• Monitor production progress and take proactive steps to avoid delays or disruptions.
• Collaborate with the merchandising and sourcing teams to align raw material availability with production timelines.
• Lead planning meetings and provide regular updates to management on production status, bottlenecks, and corrective actions.
• Analyze production data to improve efficiency, reduce lead time, and optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with internal processes and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• 10 to 12 years of experience in production planning specifically within the garment or textile manufacturing industry.
• At least 2–3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role leading a planning team.
• Proven track record of managing orders for international brands and understanding global compliance and quality standards.
