Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed plumbing layouts, schematics, riser diagrams, and shop drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and BOQs to produce accurate drawings.
Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve design clashes and incorporate revisions.
Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations, international plumbing codes, and project standards.
Update and revise drawings based on site conditions, RFIs, and consultant/client feedback.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion.
Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Drafting.
Minimum 25 years of experience as a Plumbing Draftsman (MEP background preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP knowledge is an added advantage).
Strong understanding of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sanitary systems.
Familiarity with local authority approval processes (where applicable).

Preferred

Should have Building Construction Experience ( Residential , commercial & High Rise building )
Experience in UAE/GCC projects
Knowledge of NFPA, IPC, UPC, or relevant local codes
Exposure to multi-disciplinary MEP coordination
Candidate should be Flexible to travel other Emirates.
