Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PMO Power Senior Manager to manage and oversee power and electrical infrastructure projects within our organization. The candidate will be responsible for supervising project execution, coordinating between engineering teams and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
The role requires strong experience in power systems, electrical infrastructure, and construction projects, with the ability to manage large-scale projects and multiple teams across different sites.
Candidates must have previous experience working on large projects with budgets reaching hundreds of millions.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise power and electrical infrastructure projects from planning to completion.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, civil teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and work progress across different project sites.
- Ensure project activities follow company PMO procedures and reporting systems.
- Prepare regular project reports and updates for senior management.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings, and project documentation.
- Identify project risks and support solutions to avoid delays or cost increases.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors involved in electrical works.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
- Support tendering processes and technical evaluations for new projects.
- Lead and guide project engineers and site teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or power infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing large construction or infrastructure projects worth hundreds of millions.
- Strong experience in medium and low voltage systems, electrical infrastructure, and building power systems.
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, and large project teams.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Project management certifications are preferred.
