We are looking to hire a PowerApps Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platform for one of the leading semi-government organizations in the region.
This position is a contract role with a duration of 6 months.
The PowerApps Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and process owners to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital solutions. The role will play a key part in modernizing workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling digital transformation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy PowerApps solutions (Canvas and Model-Driven apps) tailored to business requirements.
- Build and manage Power Automate flows to optimize and automate business processes.
- Integrate PowerApps with data sources including SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and third-party APIs.
- Develop custom connectors and manage application lifecycle through ALM best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing PowerApps and workflows for improved performance and usability.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure applications meet governance, security, and compliance standards within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Develop documentation including design specifications, user guides, and SOPs.
- Provide end-user support, training, and knowledge transfer for deployed solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 45 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, JSON, REST APIs, and integration workflows.
- Familiarity with Power Platform security roles, environment governance, and solution management.
- Ability to build responsive UIs and deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments is preferred.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400) are an added advantage.
