Role's mission:
Your role will support the company's brand visibility by coordinating public relations initiatives, managing media interactions, and executing high-quality events. This position also plays a key role in elevating the public presence of our talents by developing and supporting tailored PR efforts. The role bridges communication between the organization, media partners, event vendors, internal teams, and talent representatives to ensure consistent messaging and memorable brand experiences. The coordinator handles day-to-day PR tasks, assists with content creation, maintains media lists, and helps plan, organize, and execute events from concept to completion.
- Strengthen brand and talent reputation:
- Ensure the organization and its talents are represented positively across media channels, events, and public-facing activities.
- Amplify visibility:
- Support the development and execution of PR strategies that increase awareness of both the company and its talents among target audiences.
- Deliver impactful events:
- Plan and coordinate events that enhance engagement, support business goals, highlight key talents when relevant, and reflect the company's brand identity.
- Enable seamless communication:
- Maintain clear and timely communication among internal teams, partners, press, and talent representatives to ensure cohesive messaging and effective event execution.
- Support content and storytelling:
- Contribute to press materials, talent-focused pitches, social media content, event collateral, and storytelling initiatives that communicate the brand's values, achievements, and the unique voices of our talents.
Competencies Required for This Role:
- Public Relations Expertise: Strong understanding of PR principles, media engagement, and reputation management; able to craft compelling narratives for the company and its talents.
- Talent Relations & Promotion: Experience supporting PR efforts for public-facing individuals and shaping strategic exposure based on each talent's goals and brand voice.
- Event Planning & Execution: Proven ability to organize, coordinate, and execute events, manage vendors, and maintain brand consistency throughout all activations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for interacting with media, internal teams, partners, and talent representatives.
- Project & Time Management: Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.
- Media & Industry Awareness: Strong understanding of media trends, pop culture, and digital landscapes to identify PR opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Content Creation & Storytelling: Ability to support press releases, social content, event materials, and talent-focused narratives while maintaining consistent brand voice.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: Comfortable working across departments to turn goals into actionable plans supporting both brand and talent visibility.
- Crisis Awareness & Judgment: Able to identify potential issues early and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information or narratives.
- Tech & Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with PR platforms, media monitoring tools, and standard office software; adaptable to new tools as needed.
