Join us in shaping a new international school in Amaala, Saudi Arabia, serving the children of professionals working in a luxury resort destination. This is a unique opportunity to help build a learning community from the ground up in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Role Overview

We are hiring aPre-K Homeroom Teacherfor a multigrade class of children aged35 years. There is ashared application processfor all homeroom positions in the school (Pre-K and Primary), as we aim to select the most outstanding IB PYP practitioners while balancing this with experience and skills suited to specific age groups.

As aPre-K Homeroom Teacher, you will:

  • Act asclass teacher and tutor, maintaining close communication with families and supporting students integration into the school.
  • Lead planning and delivery ofIB Primary Years Programme units of inquiry, ensuring atransdisciplinary approachthat integrates early learning across subject areas.
  • Deliver foundational learning inlanguage development, early mathematics, natural and social sciences, and creative artsthrough play-based inquiry.
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers for Arabic, Spanish, and Islamic Studies.
  • Create a nurturing, stimulating environment that supportssocial-emotional developmentandearly literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Differentiate instruction for amultigrade early years classand adiverse, multilingual student population, ensuring all learners thrive.
  • Contribute to curriculum development adapted to the local context while meeting IB standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Fluency in English (additional languages an advantage).

Desired

  • IB PYP training and experience.
  • Experience differentiating instructionfor mixed-age or multigrade classes.
