Job Description
- Oversee account penetration by leveraging products and services.
- Prepare and deliver basic and advanced customer training and technical presentations.
- Act as the escalation point of contact for other team members.
- Conduct account reviews and regional sales planning meetings.
- Traveling to various unanticipated locations as required.
- Liaise with the Account Team and Service Delivery Team on customer projects.
- Work with customers and engineers to assess customer needs and to determine system requirements and solution designs.
- Act as a technical point of contact for sales team; provide guidance and training on the technical aspects of the products.
- Participate in monthly partner training presentations.
- Assist customers with Proof-of-Concept project design, implementation, and documentation.
- Assist customers with technical questions via Live Chat.
- Help create RFP and RFI responses.
- Support the account managers by developing a firm understanding of their customer's technical dilemma(s) and providing a technical solution.
- Quickly identify whether Company's product line will be able to solve the issues being presented by the customer.
- Travel with field account managers to on-site sales opportunities, partner training, and trade shows.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in audio-visual systems as a pre-sales engineer
- Ability to articulate requirements and expectations clearly and assertively
- Results/performance orientation
- Sound references and demonstrable core professional ethics
- Comfortably working in a collaborative environment (teamwork)
- Structured thinker and communicator
- Ownership and driver to completion (personal commitment)
