Presales Engineer

As a Pre‑Sales Engineer at Ascom, you'll play a key role at the front end of our business, demonstrating our solutions and helping healthcare providers deliver expert care to their communities.

What you'll be doing

In this varied and hands‑on role, you'll be responsible for:

• Preparing technical and engineering inputs to develop sales tools that support our sales teams and resellers in learning and presenting Ascom's solution portfolio.
• Delivering engaging web‑based demonstrations and technical seminars to customers and reseller partners.
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams by providing technical input into marketing activities, market planning, and product and service development.

About you

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Competencies in healthcare IT systems, HL7 integration, server and network infrastructure, and system interoperability.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming skills are essential to support database management, customization, integrations, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Possess strong analytical capabilities and the ability to support pre-sales technical discussions while working effectively with hospital IT and biomedical teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
