Pre-Sales Service Architect
Our client, a leading cybersecurity services provider in the Middle East, is seeking a talented and experienced Pre-Sales Service Architect to drive opportunity discovery, position managed security services to customers and prospects, and develop high-quality technical content for proposals and RFP responses.
A must have is proven pre-sales and customer engagement experience, strong expertise in proposal development and PoC management, hands-on cloud security architecture experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP (with a strong preference for Azure), and deep technical/architectural understanding of the core managed security services portfolio including MDR, MTI, MEDR, SOAR, Offensive Security, and Advisory services. Priority will be given to profiles that combine both implementation/delivery experience and pre-sales background. All criteria must be met to be considered for this Pre-Sales Service Architect role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Development Managers in client meetings by positioning services, assessing customer environments, and managing expectations effectively.
- Empower Business Development Managers with specialized technical expertise in key areas.
- Contribute to strategic account planning from a technology and services perspective.
- Assist onboarding teams during kick-off meetings to ensure accurate understanding and smooth service transition.
- Drive the sales process by leveraging defined managed security services and guiding customer expectations toward successful outcomes.
- Engage vendor pre-sales teams and internal technology leads as needed, acting as the primary technical interface with the customer.
- Produce sophisticated technical proposal content, including diagrams, project plans, compliance matrices, and other RFP deliverables.
- Define clear and appropriate scopes of work (SOW) for proposed services.
- Coordinate involvement of any third-party technical resources during the pre-sales and proposal stages.
- Plan, scope, execute, and oversee Proof of Concepts (PoCs), including defining success criteria, technical setup, timelines, and presenting results to customers.
- Collaborate with internal team and technical leaders to deliver successful PoCs.
- Secure technical closure for sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, complemented by recognized security certifications (vendor-specific and vendor-neutral).
- Deep technical and architectural knowledge of core managed security services, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Managed Threat Intelligence (MTI), Managed Extended Detection and Response (MEDR), Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR), Offensive Security, and Advisory services.
- Strong understanding of the underlying solutions and platforms used to deliver these managed security services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity challenges, threats, and strategic defenses in cyber and information security.
- Proven experience in positioning and selling managed security services.
- Solid technical expertise in cloud IT and security technologies.
- Previous pre-sales experience is highly desirable (though not mandatory).
- Excellent consulting abilities, blending technical depth with commercial insight into opportunities.
- Strong grasp of technology from both practical implementation and conceptual/strategic viewpoints.
- Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Sound business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Superior skills in writing reports, technical documentation, and proposals.
- Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.

- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Preference given to Arabic and native European speaking languages.
