Responsibilities:
- Implement a well-structured curriculum that adheres to the national standards and promotes active learning
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in the primary grades
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to inform instruction and support individual learning plans
- Establish a positive classroom environment that encourages student interaction and participation
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and involve them in the educational process
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall school environment
- Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities that enrich student experiences and build community
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous experience in a primary teaching role is preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of students
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development
