Job Description

About WYLE

WYLE is more than a company; it's a movement to redefine how people live, connect, and experience convenience through technology.

We're creating a unified digital ecosystem that simplifies everyday life, powered by intelligence, design, and a relentless belief in better.

If you've ever looked at the world and thought, This could be built smarter, faster, and cleaner, you already think like us.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Systems Architect to own applied AI and internal R&D from day one.

This is not a research-only role.

This is not an experimentation sandbox.

This role exists to design, build, and evolve production AI systems that improve decision-making and execution quality across a high-frequency consumer platform where timing, trust, and reliability compound daily.

You will work closely with the Founder, CTO and CPO on system design, learning frameworks, and long-term architectural direction.

This role carries real ownership.

The systems you design will directly influence user trust, execution reliability, and long-term platform intelligence.

There is no research buffer, no hand-off layer, and no downstream team to fix it later.

If the intelligence layer is wrong, the platform is wrong.

You Will Own

  • Designing AI-driven decision systems used across the platform
  • Architecting memory, preference, and context representations
  • Building learning loops that improve outcomes over time
  • Defining how systems handle uncertainty, confidence, and tradeoffs
  • Establishing evaluation metrics beyond raw accuracy
  • Owning applied R&D that directly ships into production
  • Ensuring AI systems remain reliable, measurable, and evolvable

This role blends engineering, systems design, and applied research, with a strong bias toward real-world use and impact.

You Have

  • Proven experience building applied AI / ML systems in production
  • Systems-level thinking across data, logic, feedback, and execution
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and early-stage environments
  • Strong judgment around failure modes and tradeoffs
  • Bias toward shipping, measuring, and iterating
  • A postgraduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD or published research is welcome but not mandatory, practical application and real-world systems experience matter more)
  • Currently operating as a Principal / Staff ML Engineer, AI Systems Architect, or equivalent

Compensation

In this phase:

  • This role is equity-only until our pre-seed round closes.
  • Once funding is in, this converts into a competitive salary and benefits, with meaningful equity remaining.
  • If you need a guaranteed salary from day one, this will not be the right fit.

This role is designed for builders who want ownership over outcomes, not just compensation certainty.

Why Join Us

Because you don't just want to build models, you want to build the intelligence engine of a new kind of everyday platform in the region.

  • You'll shape how WYLE designs and evaluates decision-making systems that impact real users daily.
  • You'll work directly with the core leadership.
  • You'll own applied R&D that ships, gets measured, improves, and compounds over time
  • You'll have space to design, test, break, fix, and scale your own playbook, not follow someone else's manual.
  • Your work will influence product experience, marketplace execution, and long-term platform direction.
  • You'll hold a meaningful equity stake in a company designed to expand beyond one city, one product, or one vertical.

If this feels like the kind of build you've been waiting for, send a short intro or a note about what you've built before to [Confidential Information] or apply directly here on LinkedIn.
