Role: Principal Engineer
Work Location: Abu Dhabi, KSA
Employment Type- Contract - 6 months & extendable
Job Description:
- Act as application-level technical SME for architecture, performance, scalability, and security
- Drive SDLC improvements (quality, automation, testability, release readiness)
- Embed AI-driven practices to enhance development, testing, and delivery efficiency
- Support modernization & migration (legacy → cloud/platform transitions)
- Provide deep troubleshooting & RCA for complex production issues
- Collaborate with architects, app owners, ops, and risk teams to ensure secure, compliant solutions.
Experience & Skills:
- 10+ years of hands‑on engineering experience within Banking, Financial Services, or large‑scale enterprise technology environments.
- Strong expertise in application architecture & distributed systems
- Experience with SDLC optimization, automation, and engineering best practices
- Exposure to AI/ML or AI-assisted development in engineering workflows
- Knowledge of security, risk, and compliance in regulated environments
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder influence skills
