Principle Electrical Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and support electrical technicians in performing maintenance and repairs on LV panels, SMDBs, DBs, lighting systems, sockets, isolators, and related components.

Conduct inspections and audits of electrical infrastructure to identify faults, inefficiencies, or safety risks.

Ensure timely response to electrical complaints, outages, and emergency breakdowns.

Develop and manage PPM schedules for all electrical systems and assets.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation.

Ensure all tasks are logged and updated in the CMMS (Maximo or equivalent).

Lead and manage a team of electrical technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Prepare and manage technician rosters to ensure full coverage across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Conduct regular training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.

Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, HVAC, Civil, ELV, and Horticulture teams to ensure seamless electrical support across the facility.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors for outsourced electrical services or specialized repairs.

Support cross-functional initiatives and respond to operational priorities as directed by the Manager Engineering & Facilities.

Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with UAE electrical codes, safety regulations, and internal SOPs.

Participate in safety audits, inspections, and emergency response planning.
