Role Summary
The Printing Support Engineer will be responsible for the on-site deployment, configuration, optimization, and support of printing solutions during a time-bound, large-scale event project. The role is hands-on and requires experience supporting high-volume printing operations in live environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure standalone and network printers across project sites
- Configure print drivers, queues, and user access
- Integrate printers with the network infrastructure in coordination with IT teams
- Test printing, scanning, and basic security features
- Troubleshoot printer performance, errors, and connectivity issues
- Provide printer documentation, quick guides, and user support as required
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- 2+ years of experience supporting printing solutions, preferably in large or multi-site operations
- Hands-on experience with enterprise printers such as HP, Canon, Ricoh, or similar
- Working knowledge of network printing protocols and printer networking
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-resolution skills
- Experience supporting multi-site rollouts is an advantage
- Must be available onsite, full-time for the full project duration
