Job Purpose :
To lead the strategic development, growth and profitability of Private Brand portfolio across assigned categories. The role is accountable for translating category strategies into competitive assortments, supplier partnerships, product launches and range optimization that drive sales growth, margin, quality and customer trust, in line with commercial objectives and SFDA regulatory standards
Job Accountability
1. Develop and execute Private Brand category and business strategies to deliver agreed sales, penetration, margin and quality targets.
2.Own end-to-end Private Brand development including product briefs, specifications, benchmarking, supplier sourcing (local and import), cost negotiation and launch execution. 3.Manage annual business plans, budgets and forecasts for assigned categories, ensuring delivery against financial KPIs.
4.Lead range architecture, innovation pipelines and launch plans aligned to overall category strategies.
5.Analyse sales, margin, rate of sale and customer feedback to optimize range performance and recommend corrective actions.
6.Manage strategic supplier relationships and commercial negotiations to secure optimal cost structures, service levels and quality standards.
7.Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Buying, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Packaging, Marketing) to ensure aligned and timely execution
Experience
7+ years experience within FMCG/CPG retail or manufacturing, with demonstrated responsibility for Private Brand or category management, product development, sourcing and commercial negotiations
