Private Equity Associate

Our client is a PE fund that specialized in renewables and is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Associate in the Energy Transition team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience and insight into the world of decarbonization and energy transition investment.

Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate potential investment opportunities through building complex financial models and thorough due diligence

Lead the preparation of investment opportunities for the consideration of the investment committee

Lead sector analysis and drive proactive deal sourcing

Contribute to value adding to portfolio companies

Collaborate with the team on various projects and tasks related to portfolio companies

Requirements

3-5 year(s) of investing experience in technology companies

Strong interest in understanding cutting edge complex technologies

Strong financial modelling (high proficiency in MS Excel) skills

Prior experience in hydrogen and other decarbonization technologies is preferred

Strong attention to detail

Team player with good communication skills and leadership potential

Analytical, innovative, motivated and adaptable

Proficient in English, Chinese speaking is mandatory.

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst
