Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and government authorities, ensuring all communication is effective and timely.
- Manage the processing of visas, permits, and any other legal documentation required for expatriate employees and their families.
- Stay updated on changes in local laws and regulations that may affect company operations, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Assist in the resolution of any legal or governmental issues that arise, acting as a mediator between the company and authorities.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure efficiency in operations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding local laws, cultural practices, and governmental processes.
- Organize and lead training sessions for staff on navigating government procedures and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all government-related documentation and transactions to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials and agencies to facilitate smooth operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for upper management regarding compliance status and any potential risks or issues.
- Processing new and renewal applications for company trade licenses and memberships and handling document attestation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field is required to ensure a solid educational background.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a PRO role or similar position showcasing familiarity with local regulations.
- Knowledge of labor laws and immigration policies is crucial for navigating government processes effectively.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable to facilitate communication with local authorities.
- Certification in Government Relations or similar fields can significantly enhance a candidate's profile and demonstrate expertise.
- Experience working in a multinational company is preferred, indicating adaptability to diverse work environments.
- Strong analytical skills are essential for assessing compliance risks and developing effective solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building relationships with government officials and employees alike.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software is expected to manage documentation efficiently.
