The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and controlling manufacturing and assembly processes.
The role ensures high levels of quality, efficiency, safety, cost-effectiveness, and supports continuous improvement across assembly lines and in-house component production.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and improve assembly processes for Car, including chassis assembly, electrical system integration, battery mounting, and body finishing.
Design standard operating procedures (SOPs) and detailed work instructions for all assembly stages.
Define optimal manpower, tools, and machine requirements for each workstation.
Improve factory layout and workflow to reduce movement, waste, and bottlenecks
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for process issues or defects.
Establish KPIs such as cycle time, scrap rate, rework rate, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
Manage production trials, line balancing, and process validation activities
Ensure all processes comply with ISO standards, factory safety guidelines, and electric vehicle manufacturing best practices.
Work closely with R&D for new model introduction and manufacturability improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
24 years of experience as a Process Engineer in automotive, Home Appliance, or mechanical assembly manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Assembly line balancing & lean manufacturing
Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred
Ability to coordinate between multiple departments
Hands-on mindset and shop-floor engagement
Analytical and structured problem-solving skills
Strong communication and documentation abilities
