OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Core description: Procurement Analyst is responsible for assisting with the vendor management
The role will focus on finding the best suppliers to support the business needs.
and will be liaising between internal departments and suppliers, analyzing and comparing product samples, and negotiating procurement contracts .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and provide regular procurement reports.
Select vendors/suppliers based on the cost and quality of their materials.- Conduct routine cost-benefit analysis and contribute to continual process improvement.
- Negotiate supply contracts, including prices, delivery timelines, and shipping methods.
- Issue detailed purchase orders to our suppliers.
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time.
- Documenting the features and benefits of products and services.
- Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by managers.
- Negotiating favorable procurement contracts with selected vendors and suppliers.
- Documenting processes and generating monthly supply cost reports.
- Monitoring the company's demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
- Ensures that purchase orders are prepared and placed on a timely manner after necessary internal approval from concerned parties.
- Prepares Credit Application form from new supplier under supervision of the Head of Purchasing andensure the completion of documents required with the relevant internal approval process.
- Responsible in filing approved and ordered LPO's for future reference.
Create regular purchasing costs analysis & reports.
Reports as required on financial data and processes outputs.
