Job Purpose:

Supports the procurement function by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of procurement activities to ensure the availability of required materials and services. Contributes to process improvement, supplier management, and compliance with procurement policies to support business continuity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of Nova Water's vision, mission, strategy, and procurement objectives in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Assist in the development and execution of annual procurement operational plans, ensuring alignment with overall functional objectives.
  • Prepare and support the generation of routine reports, updates, and dashboards to keep management informed on procurement activities and progress.
  • Contribute to cross-functional coordination by ensuring accurate communication of procurement plans, timelines, and priorities.

Job SpecificResponsibilities:

  • Support the management of procurement programs and activities in line with the approved procurement strategy.
  • Assist in identifying contract requirements and drafting specifications for medium-scale procurement needs under supervision.
  • Execute assigned category management activities, contributing to achieving specific category targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights on cost drivers, supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and innovation opportunities to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals under guidance and coordinate with internal stakeholders on technical and commercial assessments.
  • Monitor and follow up on supplier performance, delivery timelines, and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Assist in preparing RFQs, RFPs, tender documents, and bid evaluations in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Provide administrative and operational support related to procurement documentation, contract renewals, and supplier onboarding.
  • Contribute to performance management by supporting team members, monitoring task progress, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and timelines.
  • Participate in stakeholder engagement efforts by identifying needs, addressing inquiries, and helping facilitate communication between internal departments and suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum Experiences:

  • 3-4 Years experience in procurement leadership position
