Job Description

About the role:

A Procurement Buyer is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and delivered on time to support business operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers
  • Request quotations (RFQs) and compare offers
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain relationships with approved vendors

2. Purchase Order (PO) Management

  • Create and issue purchase orders
  • Ensure accuracy of quantities, pricing, and specifications
  • Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations

3. Cost Control & Budget Awareness

  • Ensure purchases are within budget
  • Look for cost-saving opportunities
  • Compare market prices and trends

4. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work with departments (operations, warehouse, finance) to understand requirements
  • Clarify specifications and timelines
  • Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience within procurement or any related role.
