Role Summary
You will lead group level sourcing and cost efficiency initiatives across multiple business units. Your focus is structured procurement, disciplined vendor management, and measurable cost control without compromising quality or compliance.

Responsibilities
Group Level Strategic Procurement and Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable local and international vendors across real estate, infrastructure, operations, and venture units
- Build and maintain a centralised supplier database for all entities
- Implement a structured vendor performance tracking system covering SLAs, pricing efficiency, and delivery benchmarks
- Standardise procurement workflows across the group
Cost Optimisation and Commercial Analysis
- Conduct regular market research to benchmark UAE and international pricing
- Perform comparative supplier analysis across regions and sourcing countries
- Calculate total landed cost including freight, customs, VAT, duties, and logistics
- Maintain cost trackers for recurring and high value categories
- Identify cost reduction opportunities through vendor consolidation, alternative sourcing, or material substitution
Negotiation and Commercial Structuring
- Lead price, payment term, and bulk discount negotiations
- Align payment structures with group cash flow strategy
- Support contract structuring in coordination with finance and operations teams
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track procurement timelines, delivery efficiency, and vendor responsiveness
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering cost savings, lead time improvements, and vendor performance trends
- Recommend corrective actions or supplier replacements based on performance data
Documentation, Compliance, and Coordination
- Ensure accurate documentation of purchase orders, contracts, quotations, and invoices
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and budget adherence
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies and audit standards
- Support centralised procurement for office operations and group vendor contracts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 1 to 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience. UAE or GCC experience preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor evaluation skills
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency including dashboards and cost modelling
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
- Working knowledge of Incoterms, import export procedures, and shipping documentation
- Ability to calculate and validate accurate landed costs
