Job Description

The Procurement Engineer supports project and technical teams by sourcing materials and services at optimal cost, quality, and timelines. The role manages RFQs, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and contract administration, while ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

Job Description

  • Support Technical and Project Teams during bidding and execution by sourcing competitive quotations for standard and critical materials.
  • Coordinate RFQs end-to-end, including issuing qualified suppliers, validating technical specifications, and aligning on commercial terms, delivery timelines, and logistics requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, presales, and project managers to review technical compliance and manage and offer clarifications or revisions when needed.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial offers, prepare comparison reports, and negotiate pricing, lead times, quality, and contractual terms to optimize total cost of ownership.
  • Issue Purchase Orders and contracts in line with approved budgets, milestones, and policies, and administer contracts through final delivery.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for automation, robotics, and key components to ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage local and international suppliers, including market scanning and performance evaluations in coordination with Logistics and Purchasing teams.
  • Prepare project procurement plans and track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate supplier master data and organized procurement documentation to support reporting, audits, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budgets, and applicable legal, contractual, and import/export requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Years of Experience Min: 3 Max: 6

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
