Procurement engineer

This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Engineer role located in Cairo, Egypt. The Procurement Engineer will take responsibility for sourcing, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchasing activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and processing purchase orders, issuing requests for quotations (RFQs), performing supplier assessments, and ensuring procurement aligns with project and organizational requirements. The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of materials and services.

• Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
• Experience in preparing and managing Purchase Orders
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess vendor proposals and make cost-effective decisions
• Excellent Communication skills for engaging with suppliers and stakeholders
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics
• Understanding of the oil, gas, energy, or industrial sectors is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
