Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer based in Abu Dhabi. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, preparing and issuing purchase orders, managing procurement processes, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials. Responsibilities also include preparing and analyzing requests for quotations (RFQs) and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet project requirements efficiently.

Qualifications

• Procurement Engineer with 45 years of UAE experience, including strong knowledge of local suppliers and regulations
• Experience with Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
• Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders.
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess costs, quality, and supplier performance.
• Excellent Communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and industry best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the construction or contracting industry is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure on-site environment.
