Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead procurement strategies for engineering, technical, and project-specific materials.
- Negotiate contracts and supplier agreements to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
- Manage vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies and relevant industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to procurement officers and representatives.
- Coordinate closely with project and planning engineering teams to fulfill material requirements within project timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to strengthen and diversify the supply base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- 510 years of experience in Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies for engineering and technical materials.
- Skilled in contract negotiation, vendor evaluation, and supplier performance management.
- Capable of leading cost analysis, budgeting, and procurement planning.
- Familiar with industry standards, procurement regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve supplier or delivery issues proactively.
- CIPS, CISCP, PMP, or equivalent.
