Job Title: Procurement & Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement & Estimation Engineer to support our interior fit-out, construction, and landscape projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, performing quantity take-offs, developing project cost estimates, and managing the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of materials within project budgets and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and perform quantity take-offs based on architectural, civil, interior design, and landscape drawings.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project quotations in accordance with project specifications and scope of work.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate project costing.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets for materials and subcontractor packages.
- Coordinate with design teams, project managers, and site engineers to clarify scope, materials, and technical requirements.
- Manage the procurement cycle, including RFQs, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contractual terms with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost efficiency.
- Ensure all procured materials comply with project specifications, consultant approvals, and quality standards.
- Maintain an updated database of approved suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support management in tender preparation, cost control, and project budgeting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in estimation and procurement within fit-out, construction, or contracting companies.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, construction materials, and landscape works.
- Proven experience in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and multiple project demands.
