Job Opportunity: Procurement Executive

Position Summary

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services from local suppliers at competitive prices, ensuring timely delivery to support ongoing factory operations and project needs. The role requires strong vendor relations, cash handling discipline, and effective coordination with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select reliable and cost-effective local suppliers.
  • Conduct regular vendor and market visits to assess product quality and pricing.
  • Manage cash purchase funds received from the Finance Department and submit weekly expense reports.
  • Respond to urgent material requests from factories and project teams, ensuring prompt procurement.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to issue Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
  • Maintain accurate records for both cash and credit-based purchases.
  • Use MS Excel effectively to track procurement activities and expenses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure consistent availability and quality of materials.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms while maintaining required quality standards.
  • Ensure all purchase activities comply with company policies and procedures.

  • Sourcing & Procurement Ability to identify and qualify suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiation Skilled in securing favorable terms and resolving vendor pricing or delivery issues.
  • Supplier Relationship Management Proven ability to develop and sustain productive long-term supplier partnerships.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar procurement role within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven experience managing cash purchases and preparing accurate expense documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of local supplier markets and pricing trends.
  • Proficient in basic procurement documentation workflows.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams.
  • Must hold a valid Saudi driving license.
  • Excellent English language.
