Key Responsibilities Procurement Executive (Construction Background)
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including RFQs, quotation analysis, commercial comparisons, vendor finalization, and auctions in line with SOP and spend policies.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, volume rebates, and long-term agreements (LTPA, subcontracts, AMC, manpower contracts) to optimize cost savings and improve cash flow.
- Support Category Manager in achieving monthly savings targets through spend analysis, ABC analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain supplier database including onboarding, supplier registration (Oracle), performance rating, and annual approved supplier list updates.
- Monitor and forecast demand levels, track YTD spend, analyze market trends, and review commodity strategies to ensure competitive sourcing.
- Ensure timely contract renewals by initiating processes 90 days in advance and maintaining all procurement documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with internal departments to plan procurement requirements, bundle demands, and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
- Manage supplier performance, resolve complaints (SCN process), and ensure quantity and service quality compliance at project sites.
- Oversee project mobilization procurement planning, including material and service delivery scheduling aligned with project timelines.
- Facilitate logistics and regulatory coordination including online gate pass generation (JAFZA), emergency response approvals, and third-party documentation compliance.
