We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee all non-trade procurement categories for the Middle East region on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Middle- East Regional procurement strategies in accordance with global strategies and in line with the company strategy and priorities.
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct needs analysis, supplier sourcing and market intelligence on his/her own perimeter.
  • Act as prime interface of internal stakeholders as well as purchasing region to understand needs and communicate about deals negotiated.
  • Develop and run supplier portfolio with buy-in from internal stakeholders.
  • Collect relevant data and prepare and carry out tender processes.
  • Be an active part of negotiation processes with own supplier portfolio.
  • Manage tendering process, supplier selection and contract preparation and negotiation in line with the costs and performance objectives.
  • Contract knowledge to support and review it with the team.
  • Manage supplier onboarding process, monitor performance, drive supplier development, and assess risks and opportunities.
  • Foster and implement tools and constant process improvement.
  • Follow all procurement KPIs (purchasing performance, supplier monitoring and performance and evaluation, procurement function efficiency, etc.)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Engineering or related.
  • Master's degree (preferably in business administration, economics, finance, supply chain) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of manage experience of a team or business group.
  • Knowledge of high value negotiation and sourcing processes and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills focusing on stablish and maintain cooperative working relationship. Change management skills.
  • Analytical, problem solver, self-starter, good communicator, leader, strong negotiation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and supplier relationship management is essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations is also important, such as government procurement regulations.
  • High ethical values and willing to follow and educate stakeholders on CEVA business rules and Procurement Policies.
