Job Opportunity: Procurement Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all contractor procurement activities across the project lifecycle
- Manage procurement of Long Lead Items (LLI), including ITT preparation, tender stewardship, and PO administration
- Ensure EPC contractor compliance with project procurement procedures, schedules, and quality standards
- Monitor procurement schedules to support construction and overall project milestones
- Oversee materials management, expediting, logistics, shipping, and preservation activities
- Ensure vendor qualification compliance and maintain the approved vendor list
- Review spare parts strategies and contractor execution plans
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, Construction, EPC contractors, and suppliers
- Provide regular reporting on procurement progress, risks, costs, and mitigation actions
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a business-related function, including:
- 4 years in Oil & Gas
- 1 year in a supervisory role or contractor oversight
- Strong experience working with EPC contractors, vendors, and large integrated project teams
- Solid knowledge of procurement, contract management, risk management, and project controls
- Familiarity with international standards, procurement best practices, and governance frameworks
- Proficiency with procurement and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, dashboards, data analytics)
