About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in construction procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization within the civil and infrastructure sector.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for civil engineering projects, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and services while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and organizational objectives.
  • Manage procurement activities for civil engineering projects, including materials, equipment, subcontractors, and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal terms.
  • Prepare and review RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, and contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with project, engineering, finance, and site teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Control procurement budgets and optimize costs without compromising quality.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
  • Manage risk and resolve procurement-related issues proactively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1520 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.
  • Mandatory experience working as a procurement manager with a main contractor.
  • Strong experience managing procurement for large-scale civil, infrastructure, and wastewater treatment projects.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction procurement processes and civil engineering materials.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in contract management and vendor evaluation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.
