We are a trusted recruitment partner working with organizations across the region. On behalf of a reputable company based in Dubai, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Dubai.
About the Role
As a Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contracting
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements to achieve best value
- Monitor supplier performance and manage contract compliance
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and other departments on purchasing needs
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Prepare reports and forecasts related to procurement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, with managerial responsibility
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills
- Experience with procurement systems and ERP platforms
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Professional certifications are a plus (such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent)
