Role Overview
The Procurement Manager will be managing procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and services at competitive prices. This role requires a strategic negotiator who can optimize supply chain efficiency and implement digital procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
- Monitor procurement budgets and timelines.
- Implement ERP and e-procurement systems.
- Maintain supplier relationships and performance evaluations.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking.
- Manage procurement risks and contingency planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification (CIPS or equivalent) preferred.
- 18+ years of experience in procurement within construction.
- Demonstrated expertise in the development and construction of building sectors and villa compounds.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
- Experience with UAE procurement regulations and construction materials.
- Ability to manage high-value contracts and complex supply chains.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
