Job Purpose:
To execute and manage procurement activities for general and technical requirements in compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. The role ensures the timely acquisition of mission-critical equipment, systems, and services while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, quality assurance, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer end-to-end procurement processes for defense-related goods, technical systems, and specialized services
- Source and evaluate qualified suppliers, including those dealing with sensitive or controlled materials and technologies
- Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and tender documentation in accordance with approved procurement frameworks
- Conduct commercial and technical bid evaluations in coordination with engineering and security stakeholders
- Negotiate contractual terms, pricing structures, and service level agreements with vendors while ensuring compliance with defense procurement regulations
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to national laws, export control regulations, and internal security clearance requirements
- Coordinate closely with technical teams to validate specifications, scope of work, and compliance standards
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and contract execution for mission-critical projects
- Maintain strict confidentiality of classified or sensitive procurement data and documentation
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and reporting requirements related to procurement activities
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions, vendor dependency, and regulatory changes
