Job Opportunity | Procurement Specialist

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: SAR 5,000 – 9,000

Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with proven experience in the construction and building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of products required for ongoing projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction, contracting, or building materials sector.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement practices.

Experience sourcing items such as steel, cement, insulation materials, electrical components, HVAC materials, finishing materials, or related construction products.

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Good communication skills in English.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Roles And Responsibilities

Manage procurement activities for construction materials, tools, equipment, and project-related requirements.

Source and evaluate local and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.

Coordinate import and export shipments and related documentation when required.

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with project teams to forecast material requirements.

Track purchase orders and shipments, resolving any supply chain or logistics issues.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and industry standards.

Analyze supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
