Direct Procurement Specialist (Row Material)
- Source and procure raw materials,
packaging, and production-related goods.
- Conduct market research and
supplier benchmarking to support sourcing decisions.
- Issue RFQs/RFPs and analyze bids
to select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Manage relationships with key
suppliers, ensuring performance and service levels meet expectations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms,
and delivery schedules.
- Support supplier audits and
corrective actions in coordination with Quality and Operations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving
opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.
- Work closely with finance and
operations to track and report cost performance and variances.
- Ensure timely issuance of purchase
orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Resolve procurement-related issues such as shortages, quality
defects, or delays.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth
material flow.
- Partner with production, planning, quality control and
engineering teams to ensure alignment of material needs and specifications.
- Contribute to the launch of new products by securing materials
during product development stages.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and
external regulations.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics).
Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for
internal stakeholders.
