Role Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and supplier management: Researching and identifying new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and building long-term relationships with vendors.
  • Purchasing and logistics: Creating purchase orders, monitoring order fulfillment, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Quality assurance: Verifying that purchased products and services meet the company's quality standards.
  • Cost and contract management: Negotiating pricing to secure the best value, and managing contracts to ensure they are adhered to.
  • Data and analysis: Maintaining accurate records of purchases and expenses, analyzing market trends, and using data to improve procurement processes.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Working with other departments, such as finance, operations, and inventory management, to understand needs and forecast demand.
  • Risk and compliance: Monitoring supplier performance, assessing potential risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in aviation, fueling, energy, or transportation industries
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control
  • Experience working with ERP or procurement systems
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
