Job Description

One of the region's leading diversified groups, renowned for excellence across hospitality, retail, and construction, is embarking on a major global procurement transformation. Following significant international success, the organization is evolving its group-wide strategy and now seeks a Procurement Transformation Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.

This newly created position will work directly with the Executive Board to centralize, redefine, and elevate the company's procurement strategy across all assets. You will lead the design and implementation of a modern, scalable procurement framework that aligns with global best practices and supports billion-dollar portfolio ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the group-wide procurement transformation, from strategy formulation through full implementation.
  • Define and embed a centralized procurement operating model that strengthens governance, compliance, and value creation.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align procurement initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Oversee strategic and tactical sourcing activities across high-value, complex, and multi-disciplinary asset categories.
  • Drive efficiency, standardization, and innovation across global procurement functions.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

We are looking for a senior procurement leader with:

  • 15+ years of experience in procurement strategy, transformation, and large-scale project delivery.
  • Proven track record working on billion-dollar procurement programs with multi-country or multi-asset scope.
  • Strong understanding of strategic and tactical sourcing, with the ability to build frameworks from the ground up.
  • Experience taking group strategy from concept and design through successful departmental deployment.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS/SIPS or equivalent industry credentials.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership.

Availability:

  • Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or a maximum 30 days after accepting the offer.
