JOB PURPOSE
Lead the end-to-end product design function by defining user-centered design strategies that align with business goals and deliver exceptional user experiences. The role exists to ensure consistency, usability, and innovation across digital products while driving measurable impact on customer satisfaction and product performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Formal training or certifications in UX/UI design, product design, or design thinking methodologies are an advantage.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, problem-solving, and delivered product impact.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with design systems.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or related fields.
- At least 2–4 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Experience working on scalable digital products, preferably in agile environments.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and lead the product design strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs by leveraging research insights and market trends.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process from concept to delivery to ensure high-quality, user-centered solutions that drive engagement and satisfaction.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing design team to enhance capability, foster innovation, and ensure consistent design excellence.
- Establish and maintain design systems and standards to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all products.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective design solutions that meet user and organizational goals.
- Champion user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and continuously improve product experience based on data and feedback.
