Job Description

Job purpose:

  • To manage the complete lifecycle of an assigned pharmaceutical product or portfolio, from strategic planning to tactical execution. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans to achieve sales, market share, and profitability goals for the brand.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Develop and execute the annual brand plan, including marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and budget allocation.
  • Conduct market analysis, monitor competitor activities, and identify customer insights to drive brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional materials and provide training to ensure effective delivery of messages.
  • Coordinate with internal cross function teams (Sales, Medical, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain) to ensure timely execution of marketing activities.
  • Work with advertising agencies and other vendors to create and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Drive successful new product launches and lifecycle management across the portfolio through product expansion and development.
  • Manage the brand's P&L, including forecasting sales, managing the marketing budget, and tracking performance against KPIs.
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather insights and support brand advocacy.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Academic, technical, and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, medical related field, or Marketing.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or sales
  • Direct experience as a Product Manager or Associate Product Manager is required.
