Job Description:
The Pharmaceutical Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for assigned pharmaceutical products across their lifecycle (Preferred in GIT). The role focuses on driving product growth, market share, and profitability while ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product strategy, brand plans, and annual marketing plans
- Manage the product lifecycle from pre-launch to maturity and decline
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer (HCP) insights
- Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
- Collaborate with medical, regulatory, sales, market access, and supply chain teams
- Develop promotional materials in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines
- Plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and ROI of marketing activities
- Train and support sales teams with product knowledge and selling tools
- Manage product budgets and forecasts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 25+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or product management
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets, therapy areas, and HCP engagement
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset with strong presentation and communication skills
