Role Purpose
The Production Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily production operations by managing supplier communications, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position ensures timely and efficient execution of production activities, contributing to the successful delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier & Agent Coordination
Monitor production timelines, order statuses, and sample progress with suppliers and agents
Track testing and approval processes; escalate risks to ensure timely delivery
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with Planning, Inventory, and Creative teams to align on approvals, shipments, and delivery schedules
Communicate updates and changes promptly to relevant stakeholders
3. Order & Documentation Management
Prepare and manage purchase orders, shipping documentation, barcodes, and related paperwork
Maintain accurate and organized records and reports
4. Sample & Production Tracking
Track samples, testing approvals, and bulk production milestones
Maintain up-to-date production notes, design feedback, and revision logs
5. Calendars & Reporting
Update production calendars and internal trackers to reflect current status
Provide concise status reports to support decision-making and workflow continuity
6. Issue Resolution & Communication
Facilitate cross-team communication to resolve production issues efficiently
Ensure consistent updates and follow-ups to maintain workflow momentum
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
-Minimum of 2 years experience in a production or coordination role
-Prior experience in the retail industry is required
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
-Analytical thinker with sound commercial judgment
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
