Job Description – Production Head (Machining & Maintenance)

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Position Overview The Production Head will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations with a strong focus on machining, CNC operations, and maintenance excellence. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in process planning, production optimization, and equipment reliability to ensure efficient, high-quality output aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

• Lead and manage overall production activities to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization

• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows for machining operations

• Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Process Planning & Optimization

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes with a strong emphasis on machining and CNC operations

• Ensure efficient process flow, reduced cycle time, and cost optimization

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams for process feasibility and improvements

CNC & Machining Expertise

• Oversee CNC machining operations, including programming, tooling, and setup

• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of CNC machines (turning centers, VMCs, HMCs, etc.)

• Drive best practices in machining processes to maintain quality and precision

Maintenance Management

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production equipment

• Ensure minimal downtime and maximum equipment efficiency

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices

• Implement quality control measures to maintain product consistency

• Drive a culture of safety and compliance across the production floor

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop production and maintenance teams

• Ensure workforce productivity, engagement, and skill enhancement

• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 10–12 years of experience in production, with strong exposure to process planning

• Proven experience in machining and CNC operations (mandatory)

• Strong background in maintenance management (preventive & predictive)

• Hands-on experience with CNC machines, tooling, and programming

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma practices is an advantage
