About the Role
The candidate must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and Hindi/Malayalam/Tamil. Must have hands on working knowledge of bottled water plant and machinery.
Responsible for plant production goals, including putting in place and implementing systems and procedures to ensure operations of the plant meets production plans, product quality, health/safety/environment and cost standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality, including identifying quality improvement programs to improve the cost effectiveness of the production process for the plant.
- Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines, including purchase, materials deployment, production and delivery.
- Work with company management to manage adequate, well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills, appraisal and commendation/discipline/promotion.
- Ensure appropriate maintenance of the clean and safe plant including setting up and ensuring execution of maintenance plans/strategies, maintenance job routines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), management of change process, etc.
- Ensure all necessary records are maintained to ensure effective monitoring of the production process in the plant, including monitoring of working conditions to ensure the continued provision of a safe and healthy working environment for the personnel and plant as well as safe end-products for consumers.
Qualifications
- Required: Graduate of engineering (B Eng/Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering) with 5+ years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Preferred: Food/Beverage manufacturing experience preferred, with at least 3 years experience in similar role.

- Food/Beverage manufacturing experience preferred, with at least 3 years experience in similar role.
- Hands-on Experience: Skilled in electrical and piping installation as well as commissioning activities, ensuring system reliability and compliance with technical standards.
- Maintenance Expertise:
- Proficient in the maintenance of circuit breakers, panels, control boards, switchgears, pumps, starters (DOL and star-delta), field motors, heavy DC motors, and transformers.
- Experienced in layout study,
- Testing of DC generators, and implementation of preventive maintenance plans.
- Working knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and Distribution Control Systems (DCS) for automation and control applications.
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Access.
Pay range and compensation package
- Monthly salary of AED 5,000.
