Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Supervisor located in 10th of Ramadan. Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure timely achievement of production plans
Manage and guide production technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
Monitor and control IOL manufacturing steps .
Prepare, review, and maintain all production documentation (BMR SOPs, daily reports, logbooks)
Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP/QMS standards
Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse to ensure smooth operations
Ensure proper line clearance, area cleanliness, and adherence to gowning & hygiene SOPs
Participate in equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and periodic calibration activities
Implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) and support internal/external audits
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills and the ability to lead and manage a production team effectively
- Experience with production schedules and production planning to meet output targets
- Strong communication skills to maintain open and effective collaboration with team members
- Proficiency in production management, including monitoring progress and implementing process improvements
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures
- Bachelor's degree in science, Industrial Management or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 13 years experience in Medical Devices, Optics, IOL, or Pharmaceutical sterile area
- understanding of clean room classifications & GMP requirements
