Business Development role with focus on designing and implementing user-centric products and services to support actual and prospective tenants
Main tasks will include:
Lead and manage the department's team to ensure effective execution of product development, research, and business initiatives, while fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
Set strategic priorities for the department, align work plans with organizational objectives, and oversee the delivery of key initiatives within timelines and quality standards.
Ensure effective collaboration and alignment with other departments and partners to advance the department's strategic objectives.
Monitor and assess current products/services performance and present findings to management.
Innovate, develop, and activate new products and services through continuous research and development, identify needs, and study the market to explore and develop new opportunities.
Monitor market practices and industry reports, and prepare research and studies related to industrial development to ensure a deep understanding of the overall competitive landscape and emerging industry trends.
Monitor potential partners landscape, identifying investment opportunities, and potential partnership and investment options. Work on building purposeful partnerships to achieve benefits and improve service levels, and study the strengths and risks associated with this.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experience.
Champion user-centric design principles and advocate for the needs of tenants throughout the design process.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and interactive marketing materials promoting new products and services.
Develop feasibility studies and business cases for new products/services/projects.
Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development.
Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and other teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success.
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates products across primary market segments.
Other tasks will include:
Manage & deliver different types of projects (such as but not limited to feasibility studies).
Locate or propose potential business deals; contact potential partners; discover and explore opportunities.
Establish solid relationships with stakeholders relevant to the industrial sector, including associations, authorities, ministries, and commissions.
Develop multi-stakeholder initiatives supporting the industrial sector & industrial cities.
Prepare & deliver periodic and on-demand reports to the highest possible standards.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Line Manager.
